		<description>Dee, thanks for the reminder about psyllium husk. It&#039;s an effective and inexpensive remedy. Just be sure to add water; don&#039;t sprinkle it over dry food or you cat may choke.
For the slippery elm I find it best to make a fairly thick gruel that can either be mixed with wet food or given by syringe.
Garlic is an anti-microbial and useful if you think your pet may have an infection of the bowel and cats generally love it.
I&#039;ve never used aloe for this particular problem except as part of an over-the-counter organic remedy. The pure jelly is an essential part of my pet first aid kit, however, and is a gentle lubricant. For advice on how and how much to administer I would have to recommend that you talk to your veterinary professional.</description>
